The Basics

Congratulations! You’ve created your D&D character at Arcadia Games. Now you can turn them into a custom miniature, ready for the table at your next session.

The easiest place to design your 3D model is Hero Forge, an online character creator that lets you build a miniature to match your character. Once you’re happy with the design, you can buy and download its STL file. This is the digital 3D model I’ll use to print your mini.
Step 1 - Design your 3D model

Visit Hero Forge and use the menus to recreate the character you made at Arcadia Games. You can choose their species, face, clothing, armour, weapons, equipment, pose and base.

You do not need to colour your character in Hero Forge, unless you want to for fun! Your miniature will be printed by I Cast Minis in a base resin colour, ready for you to paint yourself.

When your character is designed:

  1. Tap the Cart icon, then select Open Buy Menu.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and choose STL Download.
  3. Important: Leave “Disable Print Improvements” unticked. This allows Hero Forge to prepare the model for the best possible physical print.
  4. Add the STL to your basket and complete your purchase.
  5. Once it is ready, open your Hero Forge account and visit Digital Downloads to download the file.

Hero Forge STL files normally appear on the Digital Downloads page within around 15–30 minutes.

The downloaded file is what you’ll upload to I Cast Minis in the next step.
Step 2 - Upload your STL

Head to the I Cast Minis Hero Forge Printing page and choose the size and resin colour you’d like for your character.

Then upload the STL file you downloaded from Hero Forge directly on the product page before adding your mini to your basket. There’s no need to email the file separately afterwards. Just choose your options, upload your STL, and you’re ready to order.
Step 3 - Place your order

Once everything looks right, continue through checkout as normal.

You can choose to have your miniature delivered directly to your door, or collect it from Arcadia Games before your next session.

After placing your order, you'll receive an order confirmation straight away. I'll then get to work printing your mini and let you know as soon as it's ready for dispatch or collection.
Step 4 - Get your mini

Once your order is in, I'll get to work bringing your character to life.

Every miniature is professionally resin printed in high detail, before being carefully washed, cured, inspected and finished by hand to make sure it's ready for the table.

When it's ready, I'll let you know when it's on its way to you or ready to collect from Arcadia Games. All that's left to do is introduce your new hero to the rest of the party!
